Electives in Malaysia for 2013

Hi there,

I am a fourth year medical student from England planning to go to Malaysia for half my elective in April 2013. Any students out there who can give me any advice. I've heard the university of Malaya in KL is a good hospital but can't seem to find any info regarding elective applications on their website.

Please help if you have any advice

Im in the same boat. I would like to know of any agencies/companies that organise electives to Malaysia but have not come across any.

HEy there! I am a fourth year medical student from malaysia. It may be too late for you guys to apply for hospital kuala lumpur but if youre still interested, other hospitals may still be available. An example would be hospital ipoh. It is the second largest hospital in the country and is perfect for someone who plans to do their elective while squeezing in a holiday! I just finish my elective in Hospital Sungai Buloh, Malaysia. I'm not sure if there is any agencies organising electives, but you can go to the hospital websites and apply by yourself.

University of Malaya is a good teaching hospital. You can try apply there. The easiest way to do if you can't find the form, go to "contact us" and send email to them.
