hi

i am interested in going to the exotic and wonderful land of dubai for my elective next year...but cannot find anyone who has been there to do their elective.

is there anyone that can help with how to go about it??????

hey,

Me and my m8 won bursaries from out college to visit anywhere in the world to look at the hospitals there, obviously with a view to strengthening our personal statements. My m8 chose dubai and went to the Al Rashid Hospital, she says they were well nice and all spoke English. She had a really hands on role as well and u bein a med student, im sure you'll get even more stuff to do. So i would deffo say look into that hospital. Good luck.

Me and a friend were also thinking about tavelling abroad to dubai to do medicine there.
Does anybody have any info about this?

Couldn't tell you about electives but Dubai as a place is very beautiful and interesting. Certainly one of the more liberal Arab cultures in the region!
