2nd Year Highschool Student?- Undergraduate Medicine Program
Hi. I am currently in my second year of Highschool. I was wondering what my chances of getting into McMaster, assuming that I maintain my marks.
My average this year is 91.8% (before exams). My marks range from high 80s to mid 90s (87-96).
If I maintain this grade average, what chance do I have of getting into a undergraduate medicine program? And is there anything that I can do to increase my chance? I have volunteer experience, but not necessarily in a hospital.
And one more thing... how do you calculate GPA?
Thanks.

I'm confused by what you mean by an 'undergraduate medicine program.'
MD programs in Canada are all postgraduate degrees (well, some schools do take you prior to graduating, but these cases are becoming less common). Generally, people complete their 4 year undergraduate degree before entering medical school.
That being said, are you referring to what your odds are of getting into an undergrad program? Like Mac's Health Sciences?

with those marks, you'll have no problem getting into an undergraduate program...however undergrad is more difficut than high school and you would need atleast an A- to be considered for medical school.
