Well if you really want to become a doctor in the US, you'll have to get an Bachelor's degree first. This can be in any subject, but you must complete certain prerequisites: chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physics.
Are you a dual citizen? If not, you'll have to get a student visa, but I would imagine this would be fairly easy if you're accepted to a university.
Good luck!

This probably has something to do with it. (Where's a Lol-con when you need one)
At any rate, I've read that Medicine in the US is strictly a post-graduate degree. That and, it's going to cost you a lot.
And what makes you think US doctors are any better.Last edited by Baki; 31-08-2008 at 02:30 AM.

True Baki, definitely. Furthermore, there's something to be said about complaining about a system from a distance, and joining a system to help change such perceptions. You are going into medicine for the patient- to help them and to help cure disease.
In juxtaposition to such views on the NHS, I have had excellent, top-notch experiences of the system. I know it's not perfect, but doctors usually, do their best to do whatever they can to help. I for one am excited and proud about entering our medical establishments in the UK.Medical Student
