I take it back, so they don't process applications within 24 hours like they stated!  Sent mine, yesterday at 8:18am, it's now just over 24 hours 8:30am, and it still has not been processed. They lied! I gather that they have had a surge of applications over the last couple of days so I'm going to be waiting longer.

    What a relief!

Well, I just sent in my application through UCAS. For me, it is like an obstacle course of hurdles - the UCAS form being the first one. It goes something like this:

    1st hurdle: UCAS application form
    2nd hurdle: MSAT exam
    3rd hurdle: GAMSAT exam (Uggh)
4th hurdle (if I am lucky): Interviews
5th hurdle: (also if I am accepted): find a way to pay the mortgage

I think there are more hurdles but I am so excited that I cannot remember! I do know that I can fall at any of the above hurdles so I really am taking this one step at a time.

I wish everyone here the best of luck.
    Linda

Once again I will take back my last statement ops: Checked UCAS, my application has just been processed at 9:26am!!! I now have an application number and a track password! Could not resist so I had a look to see if it worked, and it does  ops:  Opted in for email too! Says most updates occur at 10pm, so it's changed slightly from last year. Although I remember getting a rejection past midnight last time.

    The waiting game begins..............eeeeeekkkkkk!

Can you do online/email tracking if you did the paper application? I should probably just find out for myself, but since we're on the subject already...

fatcat, yes you can track your application online if you applied using a paper application. Your application number and track password will be on your AS2 letter when it arrives.

Thanks for that Tangliss! That's good news. I got all the (paper) mail addressed to my parents' house since I'm living abroad at the moment. Now I don't have to be quite so reliant on them to tell me when important mail arrives. In my most recent conversation, after asking them several times whether my UCAS acknowledgement card had arrived, and repeatedly being given firm "no"s, it eventually transpired that in fact yes, they did remember something fitting its general description arriving a few days ago. Oh, thanks. Still, the e-tracking won't solve all my problems, since the universities will also notify me by mail should I be lucky enough to be invited for interviews. I can see I'm going to have to be persistent with my folks over the next few months!

My application was sent off yesterday and I've got my application number and password for the tracker, I've tried logging in, but it doesnt let me in :? it just goes back to the login screen. Is there a certain amount of time you have to wait before you can login?

I've already memorised my application numbber and password ops:

I've tried about 4 times I think, didnt get in at any of those attempts, and I'm 100% sure I put in the right numbers and everything :?

And yes, I have memorised my details already, I only had to look at it once and it was imprinted, I feel like the rainman  8)

Well, if you are 100% sure you have put down the right number and password, and none of the attempts have worked, my suggestion would be to call UCAS. That happened to me, last year, and they put me through to the technical staff who said there was a problem with my account (which was their fault) and sorted it out there and then. Needless to say, I was able to log in about an hour after he fixed it.

    Rainman
