Bank account- Graduate entry medicine
Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anyone has had experiences that they can use to answer my question or know anything about this- but basically I am starting medical school in September on the graduate entry course and I was looking at extending my student bank account. For my previous degree I used Natwest and they sent me a free railcard every year and gave me an interest free overdraft- the amount of the overdraft increasing every year. I was looking at extending this student account since I've been happy with Natwest, but one of the staff who worked at Natwest told me that if they extended my student account I would still be entitled to get the interest free overdraft but I wouldn't be allowed to get the free railcard as it is for new Natwest customers only. I have found the railcard very useful and it has saved me a lot of money over the years so I was just wondering if anyone knew of any banks (other than Natwest) that offered customers with a free railcard alongside an interest free overdraft? If not I will just buy the railcard every year but I thought I'd ask here before I did that.
Thanks in advanceUniversity of Birmingham- Graduate entry medicine (2012-2016)
