To cut a long story short, after working hard to try and satisfy the entrance requirements for my two nearest medical schools, after re-contacting them recently, they have now changed their entrance requirements and I'm no longer eligible. My next nearest would be 100+ miles away, not great when you're a mature student with a family.

So I'm probably going to accept that becoming a Doctor just won't happen, but I'm becoming more interested in nursing, as I might actually be better suited to that role, so it's a bit of an odd question but if you're a nurse could you possibly tell me more about what you do, what you do on a day to day (or night to night!) basis, the good bits and not so good.
