The only thing I used to say to myself regularly (and have said to my children - who are all now adults) - and indeed, I tend to say it to friends and family whenever the need arises....."Just keep turning up, each day, and see what happens".
What happens is that the years roll by regardless, but if you just keep turning up each day, suddenly you can look back, and you are out of the other side of med school, and on to the next adventure of being a doctor.
And yes, now as an F1, I often have to tell myself to 'just keep turning up' and it will all make sense eventually!! xxx
