GEM GCSE's and A Levels
Hi all
As some of you may have read in my earlier post, I am applying for Graduate entry to medicine for 2012 entry. I am currently prepping for the UKCAT and hope to do well in it. I am trying not to get too bogged down with worrying about the whole process and whether I have what it takes etc etc.
My GCSE's were quite unremarkable and I am worried that this will affect my chances. I got a D in maths at GCSE (plan to sit that alongside chem AS this sept).
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
K

Universities that use GAMSAT won't look at your GCSE (or even A Level) grades, they're simply after your GAMSAT score, degree and interview performance. So if you apply to them, then you'll be fine with your GCSE grades - although it may help you to resit Maths anyway to help you in your studies long term.
So, SGUL, Nottingham, Swansea, Peninsula & Keele are good places to start looking.
UKCAT universities may look at you, depending how they treat graduates. However tread carefully and make sure you check each institution before applying as you don't want to waste an application!SGUL GEP, T Year
