Good Advice from flippertyjibberts, all the forum will give you is suggestioins and its up to you to make your own mind up - you know it better than anyone You have a few different options not just one so keep an open mind until you have researched every avenue!!
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.

So love the people who treat you right.. Forget about the one's who don't.

Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it!!

The GAMSAT is however designed to test more than just how well you do with what you have studied, which is why if you take that then unis such as Nottingham then specifically don't consider your grades as long as you got more than a 2:2.
I would strongly advise doing what you have already decided (i.e. A levels) but that you do go for the GAMSAT, as that is really your only strong option.
Foxamy: I think you have a valid point in regard to universities wanting to know why I got 2:2 etc. I think I will follow original plan and A Levels try to attempt the GAMSAT. If I happened to get A in chemistry and biology could that widen the door or would my 2:2 still override it?

I would imagine that some would still not accept it, but if you get yourself to that position and then do what FlibbertyJibberts suggested, you might find that some would consider you, or as they said, at least tell you if there is anything else you can do to boost your chances.
