Money Money Money
I was just wondering how other graduates are going about paying for their medical degree (in particular the 5 yr med). I understand that we are eligible for a maintenance loan from LEA - correct? And we have to front the remaining 4K for accommodation + living costs. And second question is what are people putting on their ucas form under the 'funding' drop down box? Many thanks in advance!

All the graduates/matures on the 5 year course I'm on get by by using up their savings and havinmg jobs of one sort or another. There are loads of ways ot make money; it's a good idea to have 2 or 4 on the go at he same time. There was a thread about this a while back, if you search you should find it no probs. I know one person who last year earnt over £15K at medschool and needs to earn that much this year as well, for a variety of reasons. It can be done.

15k is loads! To anyone thats wondering, it defnitily is possible to balance a job with uni. Last year I earn about 2.5k from septempber-june in a part time job and that was in my finals year.
