I am living in Manchester and am also faced with the Chemistry and Biology evening classes for A-Levels?! How can there not be anywhere!

I shall add myself to the growing list of people unable to sit a part time science a-level in Manchester.

Very frustrating. I would be interested in the self-study meeting groups though, if there is enough interest.

Anyway...back to GAMSAT revision for me. Less than a week to go!

just to echo my friend and colleague Leo, I also have an arts degree (from Sheffield) and passed the preclinical sciences with no problems. I did an A level in biology at 18 and an A level in chem the year before I started medicine. I'd recommend that if you can do it, but if not, there are loads of people on our course with no science at all who are doing fine.
