Second Degree and Second Student Loan Question
Hello all,
Can anyone help me? I know that as a graduate I can't get a tution fee loan for medicine as my second degree. However, everything I've read seems to suggest I could get a second student loan/maintainence loan (whichever you like to call it) despite having had a student loan when doing my first degree (which I haven't paid back fully yet).
I always thought you only got one student loan and that was that, it would obviously help loads if I could get another student loan for maintainence costs so would be very grateful if anyone knows the answer, has been there done that, or can point me towards the answer!
I'm applying for 5 year courses in case this makes a difference and graduated in 2006 first time round.
Thank you!

You are right, you dont get loan for fees, but can get the full maintance loan which is approx £4500 per year. It all just adds up!
I have 6 loans from my first degree (finished 2002) and not even started paying them back yet!
Im also applying for 5 year course, and will just add that debt on to the rest.. one day I will be debt free (maybe when I retire??)
