Have i got a chance???
Hi im doing biomedical science at cov uni just completed my first year and have done well. was thinking possible future careers but ive always wanted to do dentistry and have never made the grades required. i was thinking working my socks off in next two years try get myself a 2.1 or 1st can someone advise me tips and reasons why dentistry is the one and give me information on ways to go about applying and if i have a chance or not. i really want to do dentistry and have spoken to few firms in midlands and relatives in the field.
DO I HAVE A CHANCE OR NOT????

hey i agree with Gizmo. u do have a chance.... i heard that with dentistry though you need a lot of experience... so i'd pester your local dentists in your area for some unpaid work experience... they are bound to take you on board if you are doing it for free and as for the tips as to why dentistry is the one, ask the dentists during your work experience why they became dentists...first hand accounts! besides you've still got a second year to go before you worry about applications... so u have a whole year to gather experience! i hope this helps
