My comprehensive list for medicine admissions info

Hi

Ive been lurking on this site for a while and it has helped me out greatly and I have managed to finally get into medicine after taking a gap year and will be starting med at Leicester medical school. So since i have some spare time on my hand I have compiled a list of links which provided me with helpful info during my application.

Firstly and most obviously was NMM, even though i did not post i read a lot of posts and gathered a lot of information from others.


Medschoolsonline - A Guide to Getting into Medical School in the UK: I examined the stats on this website inside out when choosing universities that I wanted to apply to. In addition to providing admission stats it also has a lot of general medical admissions information.

So you want to be a doctor? An admissions resource for those applying for medical school in the UK Great site dedicated to medicine admissions and medical life. For those of you who have done your research this site may not be that useful as you will probably know all the info but it is definatly a great starting place.

AdmissionsForum.net - a discussion forum for medicine, dentistry and healthcare-related professions - Powered by vBulletin: Not as good as NMM but is an alternative source which I had a quick look through

In addition the HYMS upload a list of interview questions which are also very helpful however I am having difficulty finding them at the moment.
