I am in almost the same situation, applying for 2010 entry and currently on a biomedical sciences degree.

This thread has a number of people in the same and similar situations.

Hope it helps and good luck.

Thanks mate the thread was a good help, have you booked your ukcat exam & gamsat? reading a few threads the gamsat seems the hardest...and the uni's that require it look for 2.2 in your degree i dunno if its a good thing or bad....lol

Plus good luck 2 you too!

I haven't booked them yet but i think i am going to book my ukCAT for maybe July or August. Really not looking forward to the GAMSAT though.

I am taking the summer to look around the unis and make a final decision before i commit to anything. Perhaps i can avoid GAMSAT altogether by applying to 4and 5 year courses

Ive decided on 4 uni's, warwick (4yr) soton (4yr) Qmul (5yr) & UEA (5yr), all these require the ukcat, but if i end up doing bad in the ukcat then....GAMSAT... (AND 4 NEW UNI'S) hope it doesn't come to dat.

But i'll be luvin it if i get into the 4yr entry

did you (or anyone) manage to attend the Warick open day? unfortunately the date passed me by as it was in the middle of my exam period.

Though they do have another one later in the year, i just wondered if anyone had any opinions??

Yeah you have to do GAMSAT, didnt find it as scary as the fear mongerers make it out to be its just mega long so a big part is technique, definitely not a reason not to apply to unis that require it!
