On topic, I'm half tempted to see if I couldn't get into Anatomy and Physiology at Dundee next year and go for Medicine afterwards. If I were to do that I'd be around 32yr old once finished my MBChB opposed to 30 if I were to do what I've put in my signature. Only real issue would be paying for the Medicine degree...
