    honours?

Hows it going? Just a quick post, currently doing an immunology degree then wanting to apply med school once it is done. Reason for this post is that I have seen conflicting info on this board, some people have only got a bsc (3 years right?) and went on to med school, I thought med courses would only look at you if you had honours? This seems to be the case from looking at uni prospectuses, is this people who have done fast-track courses or is there some unis willing to accept just Bscs? This would be a great bonus to push back father time but I reckon I'm missing something, somewhere. Any info as always would be appreciated.

3 Year BScs degrees in England and Wales are honours degrees, as long as you get a 1st, 2.1, 2.2 or 3rd. Scottish degrees used to be 4 years for honours, but I believe they've recently reduced it to bring it in line with England and Wales.

Scottish honours degrees are still four years APART from a couple at Dundee university, which has introduced some three-year honours degrees.

Some people who have good A-levels/Advanced Highers can go stright into second year of some Scottish four-year degrees.
