what degree did you do before applying as a grad for medicine? I am planning on applying as a grad with an Economics degree? Anybody else got a non-science degree?

Yeah. History. I was originally planning on doing an MA in Medieval History... even got a place at Cardiff! I'm thinking getting into med school is going to be harder.

What classification do you hold, for your BA? Do you have science A levels, or are you looking into 6-year medicine/Access to Medicine as your way in?

I've got an MA in Psychology, which quite a lot of the universities I sent preliminary enquiries to didn't count as a science. I've also got a PhD in Experimental Psychology, specialising in neuroscience, and I did Higher Chemistry and Biology when I was at school, so I'm probably a non-typical applicant with a "non-science" degree.

I got two offers, and withdrew my other two applications, and I'm off to Edinburgh in September.

    Good luck to the non-scientists!
