Application Process

Hey all

Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on the application process. I got my application in pretty late, and havent heard a thing back yet... Basically Im asking:

A) Are applications processed in the order they're received? Thus, apply late, hear back late, interview late, get offers/rejections late?

B) Does the quality of your application affect when you hear back from a uni? eg. A really good application hears back before any others

C) Does the probability of obtaining a place decrease the longer time goes on and you dont hear back?

Basically I have applied to Sheff, Leeds, Nott, Keele, and have heard nothing back, apart from Nott asking me to fill in an extra application. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Whens the final cut off point to give up all hope?
