Had an e-mail from UEA stating that parts of my higher education info were incomplete (missing degree titles, etc) Logged-into UCAS and found the entry to be full and complete... so this is stange. Have e-mailed UEA plus the other three with the 'missing' info again, just in case. I wonder if this has something to do with UCAS's computer problems... (which had affected UEA)? Glad UEA told me, anyway, rather than just reject what may have appeared to be a careless application...
Don't mean to worry anyone: I'm sure they'll contact you if it looks at all likely that things are going missing. At least UEA knows it was all correct at my end.
Best wishes, all.Marcus

shahista: The Soton letter seems to indicate that we could be waiting quite some time... Fingers crossed for us, anyway...

shahista: I had an e-mail from BSMS today stating that the UCAS computer system's been deleting some info from some candidates' applications. This is all we, and the universities, need! But all medical schools are, apparently, aware of this and will contact any whom it applies to by letter and e-mail, so people don't need to worry.

It's information like this that just makes me completely paranoid - I've experienced a wayward UCAS form before (the relevant med school and UCAS admitted as much) and was then declined a place, so I'm not enthused by the idea of this happening fourfold this year!
On the other hand, I've just realised how much work I have to get done before Christmas and so at the moment I'm rather relieved about the possibility of not having to make imminent preparations for interview.4th year Nottingham GEM

LWH: As I say, dont be concerned 'cos they say no candidate will be disadvantaged whom missing info applies to. If they can't recover it from the system, they'll contact you.
