Even older than you!
Hello Victor -You are a spring chicken compared to me - I am an ancient 46 years old - and going for Barts, UCL, GKT.......all the very best of luck to everybody on here. Que sera, sera - and in the words of Goethe - 'Whatever you can do, or dream you can.....begin it! Boldness has genius, power and magic in it - BEGIN IT NOW!'

Thats a concern of most i think- theo whole fees thing. But i did hear that if your on the 5 year course you get a bursary for your 5th years tuition, regardless of any previous degrees. I may be wrong but thats what i heard

Yes that is also what i read too. Trying not to get oo hung up on thinking how will i pay for it. Got to get an interview first and then pass. Not to mention the dreaded MSAT and being in the 101st percentile ( i know only joking!)
I am on jury service in Feb for two weeks - anyone any idea of how that will go down if i do get an interview around this time. I have heard many will not change your date??

If you have something like jury duty/ hopsital operation/ anything important then its not a problem. (i only know coz im having an operation in january and i was worried if i had my interviews then - thats if i get any, but i checked and anything like that they will change it for you)

I thought I'd be one of the older applicants at 31...
Good news for us all! My wife had a right hemicolectomy today (that's not the good news!), and her consultant says she knows loads of medical students in their 40's...
