06/05/05 update: Alternative entrance methods (very slightly) expanded; warn people off Newcastle GEP due to competition; more links courtesy of Makey, added ‘personal experiences’ entries; Lincoln/Notts linked place scheme added courtesy of Tangliss; Oxford GEP exam experiences added; clarify means-tested aspect of DoH bursary; HYMS no longer 2:2 friendly according to their webpage; added forum user comments on A2M courses; SAAS may fund some EU grads (apparently); Intro rewritten

Yes... it's staggering how appealing housework becomes when there's revision to do. In the uplead to my law school finals, my room had never been so tidy!

FAQ kudos
I agree with Megane1976 - this is a brilliant resource - many thanks to all who contributed.
Section 13 - Personal Experiences was particularly inspirational. Don't say 'I can't do it' - instead ask 'why can't I do it?'
I'm in Wollongong, Australia - so I just read upside-down

Just noticed that Peninsula is missing from this table http://www.geocities.com/alexism1974...#_Toc103139078
Thought I'd mention it, even though I'm not applying there or anything

Trivial update, but since it's coming around to *that* time of year again...
10/07/05: Updated places for Bham GEP (42); Updated places for King’s GEP (24)

Just had an email from Geocities: apparently the Mature FAQ is too popular and is hitting its bandwidth limit so may sometimes be unavailable. The perils of success

The Word version of the Mature FAQ is available on http://www.sucs.org/~alexism/maturefaq.doc. I'm also happy to email a copy to anyone who can't access it on the web for whatever reason.
Cheers,
