Hi xmas,

Have used your FAQ while applying and it has been fab. This is just to let you know that Sheffield do offer intercalation-but it is not available to everyone.

Hope this helps

Bun

Thanks Bun. I'll add that to the burgeoning 'list of things to update in the FAQ next holiday'

If anyone else has any comments or suggestions, please feel free to either post 'em here, or email/PM them to me.

Cheers

xmas

Hi there

I'm applying for 2006, and I was poking about on the BMA website and found this report on the demography of medical schools. There's some fascinating stuff in there, and it's recent as well - June 2004. The section on age is really encouraging for us oldies

I'll post this is the main section for matures too, but i thought you might wantto add a link to your brilliant FAQ!

it's a whopping 94 page PDF - here's the link

Thanks littletroll, I'll add that link next update (which should hopefully be this holiday if I can fit it in between the anatomy revision and playing Snake in the arcade!)

23/03/05: GAMSAT data updated; stub section for alternative entrance methods (e.g. foreign unis); link to updated admissions stats info; salaries updated; Sheffield offer intercalation; dead link pruning; Leeds fees clarified; funding updated with 2005 info; top up fees info added for 2006 applicants.

This is a work in progress - still making revisions. As always, comments, suggestions and contributions are appreciated.
