Does Manchester have a UKCAT cutoff??? Because ive heard that its apparently 650!?

I'm 31 chief, i dont think they would have been looking at my GCSE's too much to be honest, but if you must know i got 4A's and 5B's which were actually reet good when i were but a wee whipper snapper. To put it in perspective mate those results were before the introduction of A* results, and before tuition fees had even been dreamed of.

Manchester's admission policy from their website says

"Applications meeting the minumum entry requirements will then have their application ranked according to their UKCAT score to determine which of the top scoring candidates will be offered an interview. The UKCAT cut-off score may differ in each admissions cycle as our cut-off is derived from the scores achieved by those applicants who apply to our Medical School in the current cycle. These scores will be used to determine in which of the following two categories an applicant is placed: Invitation to interview or Unsuccessful. It is our intention to interview the top 850 highest ranked applicants in the 2010/11 admissions cycle."

Also ukcatprep.com said that they will put up a breakdown of all the uni's and what they say about the UKCAT here - hopefully next week.

A person who just signed up with newmedia medicine couldn't post yet and so emailed me and told me about the previous postand asked if I could put it up for them. Also the original point of the thread was to find out peoples UKCAT score who got into Manchester to see if there is a cutoff and to see what it is around. As I want to re apply to medicine and hopefully to Manchester.
