me 2, i'm on hold, got the same email. i feel like crap

oh no!!! sorry to hear beargrylls that is really upsetting, but on the upside, at least it is not a rejection which is what my friend got on saturday.

I had my interview on the 1st and have had no rejection or email saying i've been on hold. Should I be optimistic?

i honestly have no idea if you should be optimistic or not! the only thing i can say is that manchester give around 70% of interviewees an offer eventually, so the numbers are in your favour

Just to give hope to those doing A-levels and havent heard...me and my mate from school both got offers today in fact i think everyone who had manc interviews at my sixth form in december found out today, so maybe they're doing them in batches or something. anyway, YAY

so are you basically on the reserve list if you have to wait to hear from march? cna someone explain it please? thanks

not sure, but i think it means that they complete all interviews before giving you a decision.

I've been put on hold too!
I found out on monday night and was so gutted because I thought the interview had gone pretty well!
Manchester seem to be putting a lot of peole on hold this year. I'm hoping they're intending to give most of us offers or they would have given outright rejections?

they told us at my interview this year, other people have mentioned similar stats from previous years.
