    fellow feb 2009 interviewees, be nice to me! i'm not brit!

    I'm from mauritius and got an interview in manc on 23 feb. I'm really nervous for the group task. If any of you guys are there, i hope you are the friendly type... would help a lot!

    Hi Amrita, don't worry about it, you get a good bit of time (we had 30 minutes to an hour) to sit an chat with the other interviewee's before you actually do the group task.

    Bring them all Green Island Rum and they'll like you for sure!
    Could end up at any one of these by 2010:
    King's College London. That'd be for 5 years.
    Hull or York. Again, this would be for half a decade.
    Leeds. I imagine that it's not quite five years actually, but that's the general idea.
    Cambridge. The idea here is that you spend three years and nine months becoming a doctor. That really is quite a bit less than 4 years.

    Might even end up at Oxford. I threw in PPP as a long shot. I like Biology that much.

    hey amrita, don't worry! every1 in manc is great, they r all really friendly! i'm a first year manchester medic, and i'm an international student too! every1 made me feel really welcome, n i settled in straight away - this was largely due to my amazing pbl group! i love manchester now, n i'm really glad i made this choice! trust me, u'll settle in well, there's a massive international community in manc!
