I have a confirmation email, but no news on interviews.

Really a group discussion? I like the sound of that. I guess it's a good way to assess how you act with your peers.

Group discussion has it's pros and cons methinks... But i think i'll enjoy it (if i get to, that is!). As long as the group is nice and one person doesnt try and command EVERYTHING, then it should be fine... i can see that happening, however - medics are often competitive. Would be a good opportunity to demonstrate some good teamwork skills tho.
Should be a challenge. Hope to see you there ^_^

The applicants that try and dominate everything will be ones that do badly. Sounds like the group interviews are gonna be a bit like a PBL session. Just be normal - you don't need to be competitive.

There are certain criteria you have to meet but I living in Manchester isn't one. Maybe living in the North West/Greater Manchester, but definitely not in Manchester itself. I didn't qualify to go on it, but I don't think I would've wanted to because there is alot they make you do throughout the summer aswell and I wouldn't be able to handle it along with college in general plus work. Guess its worth it though in the long run but oh well...[/quote]

Forgive me for not saying Greater Manchester but i don't think it's for people of NorthWest because it's called MANCHESTER Access Programme. However, i do know a lot of people who have successfully completed it with klg work and still get 3A's at A2. They do not make you do any sort of work apart from an academic assignment over the summer. Apart from that all u have to do is attend some randon workshops. so tht's it pretty much. it is worth it becoz i know someone who did get in with BBB.

'09 interviews

Good luck to all the '09 applicants. For those of you who will be invited for interview will have more chances of getting in,as they are interviewing fewer people this year but they still got to fill 370 places.
Guys, feel free to drop me a pm, like fuze won't be much help with interviews.Could answer queries regarding course definitely!
