Stethoscopes!

Hi, I was just wondering when current medics would recommend is a good time to get a stethoscope, and whether or not any first years had got one yet?
And also, are coloured ones ok to have or is it best to stick to black? Thanks!

You won't really need one until 3rd year but if you got a discount voucher, have other opportunity to get it cheap or just have some extra cash then I can't see harm in getting one now (it's not like it is going to expire or sth).

Coloured sthethoscopes are perfectly fine-at least I have never came accross anyone who would have issues with them.
