I was told at the open day that everyone who meets the minimum requirements gets 20 marks. Oh well.. maybe I got the wrong end of the stick!

I thought that the majority of applicants would meet the minimums but the woman at the open day said I'd be surprised how many people apply who don't.

Well you def don't. The person that said it might not really know what happens.

Yeah I expect peeps do apply with lower just on the off chance but considering how many have the requirements it really would be pointless to give everyone that had the requirements the same mark.

Does work experience include volunteer work? Or is it just shadowing doctors in hospitals at GP etc?

I tought manchester didn't really look for medically realted experience as they want caring experience, which your volunteer work might show, right?
