Manchester medical finals

Just thought I would see if anyone had any thoughts about the finals we did recently at Manchester?

I feel completely unsure about the query non-accidental injury station, and a couple of the spotter station examiners were a bit unhelpful! Especially the venous ulceration and the brachio-cephalic fistula.....

Still, roll on the results day

Hey how you doing,

I was on day 1, so can't say much about the stations you got, except that I got totally shafted on the DVLA & diabetes station (I did actually revise it, but my mind went totally blank on the day),....messed up the death cert, and as for the hearing aid....WTF!

Didn't get a chance to show off most of my hard work or any of my good points.

Totally gutted

I was at Wythenshaw on day 2 and have spoken to so many people about the exams, everybody seems to have had some trouble with 1 or 2 stations.

Try not to worry too much, most people were thrown by the death cert and very few found the councilling stations straight forward. You are certainly not alone in having those feelings about the exam!

I forgot to take the BP in the chest pain station....doh!

Hi, this is my first time on this site...so hey there!
You see, I'm newly registered, can someone kindly explain how it works?

**Manchester medics, if you're not too busy, would one of you mind "mentoring" me a little, providing me with a little guidance-Manchester is my number 1 preference, just someone to talk a little to in order to ascertain a realistic student interpretation of life @ Mcr

Also, how do i initiave a conversation of my own?
am in Y12 atm...want medicine sooooo bad..(^^) God willing...
thanx in advance XD

thanks for your comforting words...have been trying not to worry, but just can't stop thinking about all the stupid things I said and stuff I didn't do when under all that pressure. Just don't know what the marking scheme is all about either....

Counting down the days til Friday 13th already....
