oh yes i do. oh dear. i know what ur going through tho. i had 4 rejections last yr, and had a forced gap year...have u thought about what u could do?

i think i'll just take a gap yr and reapply next yr. but im not too sure what to do in gap yr.

how was ur gap yr?

my gap yrs been pretty easy going! i did some more work experience- to make my personal statement look better, and also got involved in some research stuff...in a fertility clinic in london- its not paid- but i think its been a major factor in my application this yr- cos i had loads to tlak about in the interview...

oh also, most unis, *i think* prefer post-gap yr students, cos they think they're maturer?...i dunno...i do know that ucl prefer them. and if on interview- they think the applicant isnt quite ready for medicine- they defer their entry for a yr...keep ur chin up tho! just work them a levels out

peninsula guarantee interivews to gap years with ABB (AAA for school leavers lol). Also peninusula is the most awesome med school on the planet, so, worth thinking about!!

si- it seems a little like we're selling our unis to this poor person...i dont think its fair...
but yeh- i guess what we're trying to say- is that do not fear a gap yr- enjoy it, embrace it, and use it wisely...
