Lol

I got the smoking ethics as well - they seemed to be agreeing with me in general and it went smoothly. They liked the point when I said a lot of the ppl who are in hospital now with smoking-related problems, started smoking before the true health effects were known and so to discriminate would be harsh... my grandad was told smoking was gd for you :O so maybe the tobacco companies should be footing the bill!

I know that the ethics questions vary from interview to interview - the girl that went in b4 me was asked about performance-enhancing drugs in sport, and a guy b4 her was asked about breast-feeding...

Really is pot-luck so be prepared to talk about anything

http://www.medicine.manchester.ac.uk...sonalstatement would be a good place to start.

I wouldn't say there is anything manc look for in a personal statement that isn't the same as everywhere else. Just remember it's what you have gotten out of your experiences that is important, nothing else

I have my interview tomorrow!!! 20th Feb.... eeeekkkkk

I have a really bad cold atm and i'm hoping it passes by tomorrow because I don't want to have to say "I have a cold so please excuse me if I spray you." Don't think that'll make the best impression.
