Someone posted it on TSR too, there's another 10 for Teamwork/leadership. Not sure where the reference comes into it, but UKCAT will apparently only be looked at AFTER interview, and only in borderline cases.

Yep, sorry - missed off the leadership/teamwork bit. The reference is used as well as the PS in the assessment of those criteria.

do you think PBL is an advantage to other universities with traditional teachings?

Is my entry profile good enough to get into manchester as I was thinking about applying there instead of one of my other choices?

Well yes, of course it is if it meets the minimum academic requirements, but there's more to the selection for interview criteria than academia. (Depends what the C in at GCSE was for as well, so long as its not maths, English, or one of the sciences, you're safe I believe.)

My views do not represent UCLMS or the University of Manchester.

<--iBSc graduation that is...

Hi guys,

I have a question..

Do you know how many students apply overall for each year in Manchester? And how many places there are available? I have looked on the website, but I can't seem to find any information other than "Number of places/applicants: 380 / 380"... which seems a little confusing.. surely there would be more than 380 students applying to Manchester in any one year, throughout the UK?

Thank you so much,

Crajee

3500-4000 apply each year. Number of places is going up to 390.
