I understand that you want a quick response, but you have now posted this on three separate threads. Anyway, I have put a response on one of the other threads on which you have posted (I think it was the 'Manchester first choice' one). I really don't know the right answer, but I hope it helps you since you appear a bit anxious.

yeah, and I gave an answer in your "To all manchester med students"

In future, if you need a response you can bump your original thread (just write a reply in it saying 'bump' or something similar). Just so you know, forum etiquette considers it rather rude to keep creating lots of threads all asking the same question

No med school likes to fail its students. Some fail, for whatever reason. Manchester does give you at least another chance if you do fail the year (retakes in summer). In my opinion if you're good enough to get accepted, you should be fine with regards to passing exams. Then again some (very few) do fail, mainly due to lack of effort and work for whatever reason. The way they assess students actually means most pass anyway (means tested i.e. marked according to what others got)

Just my experience from semester 1: piss easy, i would say considering the amount of work i did. But i'm sure its gonna get much harder

well,i`m afraid i hav 2 agree to a certain extent with amir85...i`m from malaysia n i feel a bit embarrased when uk ppl make remarks like `rude` and `annoying` to someone with a malaysia nickname...it will giv,to a certain extent, somewhat bad impression on malaysians..
bout the fail thing...that`s one of the reason i didnt apply to manchester, despite being a die-hard fans of manchester united
anyway i`m glad that its not true...hopefully all manchester students will pass ur exams in flying colours...perhaps i`ll come to old trafford 1 day to see man united playing...is it far from nottingham?
malaysia2005 no hard feelings k

What's this obsession with Manchester medics failing? As far as I can tell the 'reputation' for this only seems to come from those who are abroad. Is this somethnig that is drilled into you at school? Do any UK-based people also have the impression that Manchester somehow stands out as having a high failure rate? Maybe I missed something...

As for supporting Man Utd, go on, show some originality, pick another team...
