To All Manchester Medical Students

i am an international student & i have received a conditional offer frok Manchester ...
I have herad that Manchester is really tough - they have very very high passing mark
I also heard that Manchester likes to fail it's students ...
IS THIS TRUE ???

I am not sure how manchester's pass marks compare to other med schools, but you need 50% to pass each semester. If you get 45-49% you get a borderline, which means that you have to get 51-55% in the other semester of that year (so that you avererage 50% for the year) to pass the year.

I wouldn't say Manchester likes to fail its students (and this is from someone who has failed a semester), and it is very helpful to students who do fail, especially if there are extenuating circumstances.
