So far I haven't actually seen anyone else saying they'll be going to Liverpool?!
Just me then?? That'll be an intense 4 years haha...

Hey tfordham88, I have officially firmed Liverpool as my first choice so don't worry your not the only one! Congrats on your offer! By the way, do you know what you are planning to do about accomodation out of interest?

Hey Psych154, that's good to know, I was beginning to get worried!
I got an email today from Liverpool suggesting some accomodation, but I think I would much rather go private. Even though the Uni Accom would be convenient, it looks like it costs about double what a standard rented house would in Liverpool. So I'd much rather find some people to move in with!
How about you?

Hey tfordham88 - sorry for late reply, right in the middle of my MSc exams at the moment! Sounds like what you suggest is a good idea. I haven't had the chance yet to look into accomodation stuff yet. I'm not sure how I feel about living with undergrads again! Apparently there are some mixed halls for both undergrads and grads so I might look into them?

No problems! Hope they're going well. Is your offer conditional or unconditional? I'd be worried of slacking off if it was unconditional...!
I know it's a small course but I was thinking there would be more people from NMMedicine saying they have offers!

My offer was conditional but they received my work reference and have officially changed it to unconditional

I can't believe I'm actually doing these exams for fun lol but im just thinking of the money I paid for the MSc so that motivates me! Good idea about the facebook group- hopefully we can find out who else is going!

Hi,

I'm wondering if any of you can help (& reassure!) me. I want to apply for the four year graduate entry medicine at Liverpool for 2013, I am a Registered Nurse with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing, As & Bs at GCSE and a Triple Distinction in BTEC National Diploma Health & Social Care. I have lots of experience in healthcare and have worked (obviously) in collaboration with Drs, Surgeons, Anaesthetists (I currently work on a Surgical ward) so am aware of the realities of a career in medicine (this is not a decision I have taken lightly). What do you guys think my chances are of being considered? Also, any PS tips (its been a while)?

Hi LozDubs,

I'm currently a 1st year here in L'Pool!
In my opinion you'd be fine to apply here. There's not actually any nurses with us this year, there's a midwife (who dropped down from the year above) but I know they do accept nursing degrees.

I'd say go for it, and hopefully see you here next year!
