Just wondering if any body else has been waiting listed at Lancaster?
Me and Rhian are the only ones i've heard of so far...
Sucks to have to wait untill the very last minute august.
Hoping to get a place somewhere else before then, but it's an option if all else fails.
Just wondered if anyone else was the same?

Actually i've not been told yet and am still awaiting a response!!!

How did they inform you that you was on the waiting list? Was it a letter through the post of by email? Or was it on UCAS tracker?

I got a letter through the post about 2 weeks after my interview, which was in December, saying that i'd been unsuccessful in gaining a place out right, but they'd like to put me onthe waiting list, on the condition that i pick up a mark and make my Chemistry an A grade (which i did

).

Last time i asked admitions this basically means that in august when everyone who has an offer gets their results, about 10 people typically miss their grades, and they fill these places from the reserve list, which is usually about 20 people.

It sucks to have to wait untill August to know, because that will make it awkward with sorting out accomodation/finance etc, but i'm not complaining cuz it's better than an outright rejection.

So i just wondered if anyone else was the same.

I don't think you've been waiting listed, or you would have got the letter too. Good luck, sure they'll get back to you soon, usually it's all wrapped up by the end of March, so you should know by then, good luck!

Hi I got my resit grades through today which make 3 A's overall so I'm definitely going to Lancaster! Anyone else a resitter? xx

yeyyyyyyyyy i got an offer from lanc too gonna firm it if i dont hear from soton had my interview on 23rd anyone else had their interview then, i got most of the people i met their on fbook

we had time to talk but their was a girl from west yorkshire and a asian guy who also had an offer from hyms just wanna see if theyres any chance of meeting more people i know next year as i know one person i met at interview has an offer already and will probably firm it
