Liverpool doesn't just keep an eye on Lancs- the course in run by Liverpool Medical School and you graduate with a Liverpool MbChB.

Another Lancaster 1st year here in addition to the one on page one (Hi, Joe!).

Lancaster is truly a hidden gem. 50 students, so you can imagine how small the teaching groups are and how high the student:tutor ratio is.
All the staff are very supportive, both at the university and the hospital. PBL is by far the best means of learning medicine, even those doing traditional courses will have to do PBL when they are junior doctors, so you might as well start early and get good at it!
Clinical skills every week, you do so many different clinical exams and techniques that you'll feel pretty doctor-ly rather soon. 3 post mortems in your very first term! Clinical placements in the second term!
The Lancaster area is very nice too, I've been going to school in Lancaster for almost a decade now (high school, VI form and now university) so I'm in a position to know! Lots of greenery and plenty of pubs/clubs etc to suit everyone's tastes. But when asked "Why Lancaster?" at the interview, don't mention the night life as your first reason!
Did any of you have your interview on Nov 24th? I spoke to a group of you that morning in the Faraday building, all suited and booted and nervous! We've all been there.

Just had an interview at lancaster like a few hours ago!

It was a great interview but i think i messed up on some questions, the interviewers were very friendly! I could have said soo much more! But due to pressure and my superspeed talking i didn't give myself chance to think!

    Oh well.

But Lancaster is a great uni!!
