clinical skills osce resit
How well do you need to do to pass this exam?
Are the stations different from first time round?

The pass mark is still the same. I've never had to resit one myself, but there was a rumour that there are more computer stations as all the 'patients' are on summer holidays, but how true that is I don't know. The stations will be similar to the real thing, the resit isn't easier or different.
Good luck!Dr. Batman

while theyre keen to see you pass (and this is apparently obvisou from the way they structure the revision sessions - i wouldnt know not re-sat one before this is just hear say) the pass rate will still be 80%. just get plenty of ECG ad drug dose and radiograph practice if its likely to be computer-station heavy. good luck

any ideas what's good to revise for comp stations? I've been hammering ECGs and drug dose calcs and making sure i know visual fields and spirometry. they were more or less what i failed on my summative but not sure what else would be good to practice- what other sorts of things could they throw in?

ive had x-rays and this year blood test results - but i think that would be harsh in 2nd year. then theres the history stations. nake sure yu ask about stuff like who they live with and financial worries, its all isted in the blurb we have to tell you as mock patients, so it could come up in the histry station.
sorry for bad typing, im on a german computer!! whens ur exam lizzy? im back on friday, will text u then xxif you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours
