thinking about changing to liberty park over uni accommodation. any one already applied or visited Liberty Park? I think its bit closer to the Med School and its self catering and rent is not too bad.

i have heard that most private accommodation consist of students not only from uni of liverpool but from other unis in liverpool as well.

Yeah, private accomodation is full of john moores and LIPA students. God I hate LIPA students. "OH MY GOD, LOOK AT ME! I'M GOING TO BE A SINGER! EVERYONE LOOK AT ME!"

I lived in Liberty park last year, and it's a great place to live in terms of location - you're near to everything and all bills are included.

I really liked it at liberty park, it's clean and secure.

I think last year they lost their contract with JMU so there were hardly any people there last year, dead quiet, but I don't know about this year.

They tend to stick people from JMU in a different block anyway, so you don't get much riffraff :-)

However, if you're a bit of a social person, there are often not many medics that choose Liberty park, so be aware that you might have to make an effort to go out with people.

i am going to liberty park and have visited it and it looks really nice. when i went they said that they do take people from lipa and JMU but try and put all liverpool students in a block together, they also keep all freshers together which i thought was good.
