halls halls halls

i know its a while off before we apply for which halls we want to stay in, but which halls would you medics recommend?

hey i'm in d+r and totally love it. both sites are good but carnatic rooms are smaller and you have to queue longer for food! there's loads of medics at either r+g or d+r. i'd come to d+r again if i could, although the food at r+g is meant to be the best out of all halls food.

when i was doing my accomodation 'research' i also thought d&r looked the best.
is it a good idea for me to consider self catering? they have the self catering en suite rooms don't they?

you know the carnatic halls and greenbank halls, aren't they quite far from the mediciney area? are there any halls nearer?

theyre about 3 miles away yes.

yes there are some halls on campus - mulberry court for example.

they are called "precinct accomodation" as theyre on the uni precinct.

hmm. i think i'm going to have to visit them or something, see what they're like.
how much does it cost you every week to get to and from main campus?

youll have to get a bus pass. theyre about £200 for the year.

the campus site halls dont seem too bad, lol, my mum wants me to stay in halls quite close to the campus.

what would you say to commuting to and from manchester everyday? what is the timetable like?
