Hi everybody, thanks for the advice so far.

I was just wondering, on the letter it said that we should send any extra references that wiill help my case? Do you think this is necessary? It states that you shouldn't repeat anything in the personal statement, and I can't really think of anything extra. But do you think I should find something anyway? Ta xx

francyou- block 11... yeah gavin is my tutor.. he's great!! we hav a tutorial 2moz!! did anyone last yr who didnt get the 60% but still got into medicine?

e_leanor - i just gave in a CV type thing.. they arnt that fussy. any extra references would be good so ask other teachers who taught u recently n ask for a reference.

Yeah there are one or two, it really depends where you are wanting to go. Make sure you work hard 4 the end of module tests, that way you won't need as many marks in the summer.

ok... yeah ive got end o module nxt week so am gna start revisin 2nite! the weeks just go by so quickly as well. am not looking forward to the summer exams xxx

hii! were u a premed at lancaster aswell last year?

hey yeah I was on premed last year, now Im still at Lancs doing medicine.

Supanki, don't worry too much bout summer exams, most people didn't find them 2 bad. xxx

how was the interview at lancaster, was it hard?

Yeah I think most people did, there are 5 of us at Lancs and then a couple decided on Liverpool. I had my interview at Liverpool, it was quite relaxed and informal. They asked questions mainly on PBL and then the usual why medicine? why not be a nurse etc.
