I recently emailed the admissions tutor to ask for advice on my unsuccessfull application for 2005. They emailed back saying that my GCSE grades were not quite high enough however if i acheive AAB at alevel and do more work experience they woulod concider my application for 2006. What exactly does this mean, is this a way of saying they will give me an offer or just simply concider my application as any other application.
thanks

dats the the attitude mate. one one door closes many other open. i was had to face four bitter rejections last year, due to my grades. But got high A-levels. Whereas the rest of my m8s chose other paths i was determined and this yr have a place. Head up high and prove em wrong. All the best dude!!

The most annoying thing is that the selection centre always used to be later in the year, so other unis had a chance to give out offers first. If they'd done that this year, some of the rest of us...
