AS chemistry was horrible !! but i think that quite a few other people thought so too, hopefully thats a good sign!!

I'm hoping for a B in chemistry, but would it still be worth me aplying for medicine if I get a C ?? I'm so worried bout the chemistry !!

If medschool is where you want to be then apply. A C at AS is hardly the end of the world. You can retake modules anyway, in your second yaer to bump up your grade. Unis use predicted grades newayz

Errrr hum, if S. Knights doesn't mind me pointing it out (and please my I reiterate that I only know this because it's been quoted on the forum several times. I am not his little stalker   ), he got a C for chemistry at AS-level. And now he's happily in his 2nd/3rd year at Stockton/ Newcastle (a very fine medical school). Getting a C shouldn't stop you, as long as you persevere in your A-levels and aim for a B/A!!!

not trying to be a killjoy, but things have change Mmmm, before they would of accepted someone with BBC, now the stakes are raised they want ABB- next year AAB-coz as u know much more ppl want to do med (so some godforsaken reason ) competitiveness is off the scale

Indeed, things have changed. But I don't think that Newcastle would EVER (not even two/three years ago) accept someone with BBC!! I don't even think they allow people to drop from AAB to ABB!
