Hi guys,

Just wanted some advice really. Hope you guys can help...

I got my A Level results last Thursday and I was a little disappointed. I got an A in chemistry and a B in biology. I only did two A Levels because I've already got A Levels and a degree from years ago. I was hoping for two A grades and I was only 15 ums points off an A in bio

Anyway, I'm really not sure what to do now. I was hoping to apply for medicine in 2010 but I'm worried that the B grade will hold me back. My other qualifications are as follows:

-GCSEs: 3 A's, 6 B's and 1C.

-A Levels (from years ago): English Literature- B, Art- D, General Studies- C

-AS Levels (from years ago): Psychology- C, Graphics- C

-Degree: BSc 2.1 (hons) Sports Studies

-I also have a university Certificate in Counselling Skills.

So, as you can see, my previous academic history isn't exactly glowing. I was really hoping that if I got two A grades and chemistry and biology, it would improve my chances. I completed the A Levels while working full time. Anyway, my question is this: should I resit a bio module and try and bump it up to an A grade or do you think I have a chance of getting in to medicine with the B in Bio? Honest opinions appreciated
