AS human biology distance course wanted
Can anyone recommend a AS Human Biology distance learning course. I'm in Derby where I can do Biology but would rather do Human Biology as its more relevant to the degree I want to do.

I did Biology with the National Extension College - good support from a tutor by email and good materials. A taught course would probably be better value though. The syllabi of Biology/Human Biology aren't that different, just a few bits on plants in Biology.

I did the AS Human Biology course through the NEC. I *didn't* get great support from my tutor (I imagine it varies a lot depending on the specific tutor) but the material is pretty good and I did get an A in the end.
I'm not sure if you can still do it though now that it's new syllabus.
Cheers

do you want to do medicine?
If so, just do biology. It's viewed in the same light (possibly even better to do biology instead of human), and learning it at a college as opposed to distance learning will be far easier.
