Easier said than done, but don't panic! You don't know what you results are, so don't convince yourself that you must have done badly, it may be the opposite.
IF they're not quite what you expected, there is still hope. Even if you special circumstance thing doesn't go through, if your teachers know of your situation, they'll include it in your references, which the universities will note. As for predicted grades, it depends on how your place predicts them, mine predicted a grade up for A2, whereas others predicted the same grade. It'd be worth talking to your teachers about their predictions and explain your circumstances and see if they're willing to predict you what you need.
It is possible to resit AS modules alongside your A2s, i've done a couple to boost marks. My exams were spread out in January and June, which made the workload more manageable, but some places may do exams only in June, so check. If you do decide to resit, 3/4 modules should be your absolute maximum and no more, or else its too much. Also be discerning in which modules you resit that can give you the biggest boost in UMS. Something helpful about resits i found was that there were synoptic papers in A2 that required knowledge from AS, so it was a refresher.
Again, don't resign yourself to doom. I got ABCC in my AS, but managed to get an offer and (hopefully) get the grades, so its possible. You may find tommorow that you're pleasantly suprised. Good luck.
