confused about what type of course to apply to
ive realised that im eligible to apply to both the bm5 and bm6 (widening access) courses at southampton. my alevel predictions will probably be AAB and my gcses arent too strong in comparison with other apps (1a* 7a 2b). i dont know whether i should apply to 4 normal courses with an aab prediction or the bm6 one because my tutor thinks i should apply to the bm6 one with 3 normal choices but im so confused. at the open day the med students were saying that they dont see the point of me applying to a widening access with the minimum predictions required of the standard course and that i would have a better chance at gaining a place at another med school but im so confused about what i should do. has anyone got any thoughts on the matter?
