    You don't need chemistry if you're applying for Medicine with a foundation year.

    And it really depends on what your Cs at GCSE are in. If it's in the core subjects (maths, english, sciences) then you might have a hard time finding a university that will accept you.

    No, the C's arent in the useful subjects:

    A - Physics
    A - Chemistry
    A - Maths
    A - Biology

    B - English Lit and Lang

    C - Textiles
    C - RE
    C - Drama
    C - French

    hey no-one said the C subjects arent useful, tohugh gcse french is pretty inadequate. Drama esp is useful cos of all those skills u learn- how to read people for example which will be important for someone who needs to understand, advise and diagnose others while trying to stay sane through it all.

    Yeah, that came out wrong! i didnt mean they wern't important. Im supposed to be getting a decent as grade in drama to make up for it tho!

    i don't think chemistry is 1 year isn't that bad, becuase all concepts ie organics and physical chem, is repeated and linked all through the 2 year course, so its easier to be able to link it through in one year, aprt from thinking you can forget it after AS.

    Maybe you think its crazy, but i think it may be easier, on the other hand biology would be absolutely crazy to do in 1 year, theres 222 much to learn lol.
